What VeriEV uses, and what it does not have
Connection status is stated on every source. Nothing is described as connected until it is.
Owner and driver records
In useJourneys, energy use, charging sessions and observations entered in the app.
Vehicle profile data
In useManufacturer-published capacity and specification figures, cited as published values.
Imported vehicle data
Limited or not connectedBMS, OBD or telematics exports supplied by the owner. Owner-supplied, not independent testing.
Charging site evidence
In useRecorded observations of physical suitability and achieved charging rates.
Live weather, traffic and elevation
Limited or not connectedNot connected. These are asked for as explicit inputs instead of simulated.
Live charger availability
Limited or not connectedNot connected. VeriEV does not publish real-time charger status.
Independent physical testing
Limited or not connectedOnly recorded where a recognised test process has actually taken place.
How data is obtained
Data is only used where it is entered by the owner, imported by the owner, published openly, or supplied through an authorised integration. VeriEV does not scrape third-party services and does not ingest data without permission.
